Memories & Recollections

In our 40^th year of operations Australian Mutuals Archives is making available online some historical publications we have produced ourselves. The first of which is Memories & Recollections which was published in 2002 as a joint venture by our forbears the Australian Credit Union Historical Co-operative and the Australian Credit Union Archives.

A lot of work went into the 44-page book which includes a brief overview of the foundations of credit unions as well as stories from directors, staff and members. These stories include members who got loans with credit unions after being rejected by banks, yarns from credit union foundation meetings and tales of staff camaraderie.
