Welcome to Cuscal’s inaugural Video Line newsletter from 1996. In the words of Video Line host David Englund, “it is planned that these newsletters will be made three times a year to coincide with the major planning cycles of the credit union movement in Australia. We hope that together they will build up into a valuable reference library”.

Video Line#1 features Cuscal Managing Director Reg Elliott discussing the Cuscal National Planning Council, Richard Crosbie, Chair of the Cuscal National Board and Sam Walters, Cuscal Membership Council Chair. All big names in Australian credit union history. Many of the topics discussed may sound eerily familiar to those working in customer owned banking today.

We can’t say how many Video Line newsletters were made but Australian Mutuals Archives holds four of them and they will be digitised and shared with you in time.
