1989 - 1991
The Credit Union Association Co-operative was registered on 2 November 1989. It was formed from a number of larger credit unions opting to break from the Victorian Credit Co-operative Association (VCCA) possibly over a controversial marketing plan. These were VTU Credit Union Co-operative, Police Association Credit Co-operative, Piccol Credit Co-operative, Telecom Credit Union, Transcomm Credit Co-operative and Gas Corporation Credit Union.

In 1991, the Credit Union Association Co-operative joined opponents of reforms for the credit union movement in Queensland and New South Wales and formed the National Credit Union Association (NCUA). We hold a copy of the 1990 Credit Union Association Co-operative Annual Report.
