1969 - Current
The Regional Australia Bank presence can be found right around NSW, but their roots are in the New England region of the state and indeed their head office remains in Armidale. It was begun as University of New England Staff Credit Union in 1969. After merging with Peel Valley Credit Union in 2004, Orana Credit Union in 2008 and Hunter Mutual in 2010, the Community Mutual Group was formed and the brands New England Mutual, Orana Mutual and Hunter Mutual operated in the appropriate areas. It became Regional Australia Bank in 2016.

Our Regional Australia Bank collection includes annual reports beginning with the very first annual report of University of New England Staff Credit Union in 1970, meeting documents, newsletters, an oral history recording, photographs and contemporary governance documents and reports published online.
