Northern Inland Credit Union is based in the great NSW town of Tamworth, which is 420km northwest of Sydney and famous for its Country Music Festival. It was also the first town in Australia to use electric street lighting in 1888. The credit union was registered in May 1988 and formed from the amalgamation of Namoi Credit Union (Narrabri and Gunnedah) Oxley Mutual Credit Union (Tamworth) and Tamworth and District Community Credit Union. Our Northern Inland Credit Union collection includes annual reports from 1995 onwards, newsletters and contemporary governance documents and reports published online.
