G&C Mutual Bank
NSW
1959 - 2025
Today, G&C Mutual Bank has members from all walks of life, but it has its roots in the NSW public service. It was registered as PWD (Public Works Department) Staff Cooperative in 1959. It changed its name in 1963 to Stateworks Staff Credit Union and it was from here onwards that its membership began to spread through the NSW public service. It has gone beyond that sphere in recent years and its merger timeline can be seen below.
Our extensive collection of G&C records includes annual reports from 1963 onwards, summarised histories, merger documents, early governance documents, stamps and seals and contemporary governance documents and reports published online.
