1964 - Current
Established in 1964 as Main Roads Staff Credit Union, the purpose of the credit union was to support the financial needs of staff of the NSW Department of Main Roads and their families. In 1989 it changed its name to RTA Staff Credit Union, when the NSW State Government formed the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA). After the Roads and Traffic Authority became Roads & Maritime Services in 2011, the credit union members voted at the 2012 Annual General Meeting to change the name to Transport Mutual Credit Union.

Our Transport Mutual Credit Union collection includes annual reports from 1967 onwards, newsletters, a member survey, marketing material and contemporary governance documents and reports published online.
