Coastline Bank (formerly Coastline Credit Union) took the well-worn route of evolving from an industrial credit union for workers to a community credit union. And what a place to do it on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW. Its head office is in Kempsey. Coastline was registered as MRCC Employees Credit Union in November 1966. In 1970 it became Macleay Mutual Credit Union. In 1995 Macleay Mutual Credit Union changed its name to Coastline Credit Union to reflect its commitment to the people of the mid-north coast of NSW. In February 2025 it began trading as Coastline Bank.
Our extensive range of Coastline Bank records includes annual reports from 1971 onwards, the Background to the Macleay Valley's Own Credit Union historical booklet, newsletters, correspondence, newsclippings, an oral history recording with a Director and contemporary governance documents and reports published online.
