Central West Credit Union is a small credit union formed by public servants in Parkes, NSW. It was formed by employees of Central West County Council and registered as Central West County Council Employees Credit Union in October 1966. It became Central West Credit Union in 1970 and merged with Parkes Industries Employees Credit Union in 1980. Despite its size it has gone to great lengths to record and share its history.
